Kaser is small, close, and mostly our regulars. The shop is on Old Nyack Turnpike and we're usually at a Kaser address in under ten minutes. Simplex installs, rekeying after tenant turnover, lost keys, emergency lockouts — the same work we do in Monsey and Spring Valley, a few minutes' drive north.
We use your location once to calculate your personal arrival window. It isn't stored.

Call (845) 490-8899Kaser is compact — you can drive across the whole village in under five minutes. The housing is dense, mostly row houses and apartment complexes with a handful of older single-family homes. Every time a unit changes hands, somebody calls a locksmith, which means our Kaser van runs a steady rhythm of rekey jobs on weekday mornings.
Kaba Simplex and Lockey USA are the most common specialty installs — the community's demand for mechanical keyless locks (no keys to carry on Shabbos, no electronics to fail) is a big part of what keeps us stocked on these. Beyond the specialty work, the common calls are emergency lockouts, broken keys, and the occasional car key replacement for family sedans and the ubiquitous minivans.
Kaser Boulevard, the streets off Maple and the apartment blocks along the Monsey border, the access roads between Kaser and Route 306.
Apartment rekey at turnover, Simplex install on a front or back entry, emergency lockout late at night, broken key in a stubborn cylinder.
The most common front-door job we do in Kaser Orthodox homes. We carry the 7100 in stock at our shop, install the true all-black finish (buttons and thumbturn both black — not the factory silver-button version), and handle code changes free when you buy through us.
Other common Kaser calls — each one links out to the full write-up.
Our shop on Old Nyack Turnpike is a straight shot to Kaser — usually 4-to-8 minutes depending on exactly where in the village. Default route runs through Spring Valley onto Maple or directly up toward the Kaser border. For deeper calls into the residential blocks, we know the side streets and avoid Main Street in Spring Valley where possible.
We don't work during Shabbos or Yom Tov. If you're locked out during that time, the halachic default is to wait — but if there's any safety concern (a child locked inside, an elderly parent not answering, a medical situation), that's pikuach nefesh and you call 911. Fire department entry is free and takes 10–15 minutes.
For non-emergencies — a stuck lock, a lost key — call us as soon as Shabbos or Yom Tov ends. Motzei Shabbos through Sunday we usually run extended hours. Before Shabbos — if you call Friday by 1pm we can almost always make it, even in winter.
Pesach, Rosh Hashanah, Yom Kippur, Sukkos first days, Shemini Atzeres, Pesach last days, Shavuos: we're off. Chol HaMoed: we work. Most of our Orthodox community customers know this; if you're unsure, just call and ask.
The ones that come up most often. Real answers, not marketing ones.
Same shop, same van, same tech — dispatched to the neighboring villages and hamlets.

We'll review your request and call you back the same day. For urgent matters, our line is always open at (845) 490-8899.

Rockland Locksmith is not just a van showing up from somewhere unknown. We are a real locksmith shop on 274 Old Nyack Turnpike in Spring Valley, serving Rockland County since 2014.
Customers call us because they want someone local, licensed, experienced, and accountable. Whether it is a car key, home lock, commercial door, safe, keypad lock, or emergency lockout, the service is backed by a real storefront and the person whose name is on the license.
