If you live in Monsey, you've seen our van — on Route 59 outside the Maple Plaza, down Forshay, parked at the complexes along Francis Place. The shop is on Old Nyack Turnpike in Spring Valley, which means most Monsey addresses are a 6-to-10 minute drive, not an hour-out-of-the-county call.

Call (845) 490-8899Monsey isn't one thing. The stretch along Route 59 is dense commercial — shuls mixed with stores, the big complexes off Main Street, apartment buildings where tenants turn over constantly and rekeys are a weekly call. The streets north of there — Forshay, Maple, Saddle River — run quieter, older housing, larger families, original lock hardware from the 1970s and 80s that's finally asking to be replaced. Then you get to the newer developments up toward Airmont, where the door and lock specs are modern but the demand is just as high because everyone's putting in Simplex locks.
The Orthodox community is the thread that runs through all of it, and the lock work reflects that. Mechanical keyless is the default — Kaba Simplex 7100, Lockey USA M210, the occasional Simplex 900 on an interior or utility door. We stock all of them. We also do the code changes, usually free when you bought the lock through us, and for a fair price otherwise.
The vehicle side of Monsey has its own character. The school bus fleet running the local mosdos — ignitions, lost keys, and fob work for the full range of bus models is a regular weekly call. The Toyota Prius taxis that run up and down Route 59 and 306 are the dominant local cab — push-to-start, high-mileage, fobs that take real wear. The Ford Transit vans parked in every other Monsey driveway — family-hauler standard, with all the smart-key programming that implies. Plus the usual mix of Honda, Toyota, and Chrysler minivans. We've worked on all of it.
Route 59, Route 306, Forshay Road, Maple Avenue, Grove Street, Saddle River Road, Viola Road, College Avenue, West Maple, the streets around Yeshiva of Spring Valley, the Maple Plaza area, the big complexes off Francis Place and Remsen.
Simplex 7100 installation on a front door, Lockey code change, rekey after tenant turnover, lost car key on Friday afternoon, broken key in a downtown storefront, apartment lockout, emergency access for a locked-out neighbor.
Maple Plaza apartments, the Grove Street row houses, the complexes along Francis Place, the split-levels on Hillcrest Drive, the newer construction on Horizon, the condos along Summit Park. Different eras, different hardware, different install approaches.
Not every lock fits every door. High-traffic front doors, apartment building common doors, and shul entries need a different build than a utility or interior door. Commercial spaces often need a model the fire inspector will sign off on, which narrows the list further. Our technicians walk through the door, the use case, and the inspection requirements with you before recommending anything — and we'll explain exactly why one model fits and another doesn't.
The most common front-door job we do in Monsey Orthodox homes. We carry the 7100 in stock at our shop, install the true all-black finish (buttons and thumbturn both black — not the factory silver-button version), and handle code changes free when you buy through us.
Lost your only key, need a spare, fob stopped working, or a key broke off in the ignition — we come to your driveway in Monsey, cut the blade from the VIN, and program the transponder to the car's immobilizer on the spot. No tow. No dealer appointment. Usually done in under an hour.
We design and install access control systems for buildings that need to be reached at all hours, by the right people, without keys getting copied, lost, or shared. Mikvaos, shuls, yeshivas, gemachs, multi-family buildings, offices, gated lots — anywhere the same access problem comes up.
Our installations handle member enrollment, multi-door entry, scheduled access, backup credentials, and after-hours entry at the privacy and reliability standards each setting requires. From a single Schlage keypad on one door to facial recognition with on-device processing for sensitive environments — we install the right system for what you actually need.
Common installs: mikvaos, shuls, yeshivas, gemachs, senior residences, multi-family entry, offices, gated lots.

Other common Monsey calls — each one links out to the full write-up.
Shop is on Old Nyack Turnpike in Spring Valley — five minutes out and we're at the Monsey line. But here's the thing most people don't realize: the GPS default sends everyone to Route 59, and 59 is crowded most of the day. For a lot of Monsey addresses, we stay on Old Nyack Turnpike and cut in through the back way — especially if you're up toward Evergreen, the streets north of 306, or anywhere in that corner. Less traffic, fewer lights, usually faster. We make the call at dispatch based on where you are and what's moving right now.
We don't work during Shabbos or Yom Tov. If you're locked out during that time, the halachic default is to wait — but if there's any safety concern (a child locked inside, an elderly parent not answering, a medical situation), that's pikuach nefesh and you call 911. Fire department entry is free and takes 10–15 minutes.
For non-emergencies — a stuck lock, a lost key — call us as soon as Shabbos or Yom Tov ends. Motzei Shabbos through Sunday we usually run extended hours. Before Shabbos — if you call Friday by 1pm we can almost always make it, even in winter.
Pesach, Rosh Hashanah, Yom Kippur, Sukkos first days, Shemini Atzeres, Pesach last days, Shavuos: we're off. Chol HaMoed: we work. Most of our Orthodox community customers know this; if you're unsure, just call and ask.
The ones that come up most often. Real answers, not marketing ones.
Same shop, same van, same tech — dispatched to the neighboring villages and hamlets.
