Hillcrest sits east of Monsey, tight against the Clarkstown line, and calls from here come with their own rhythm: a mix of Orthodox families along the Monsey-facing streets, long-time homeowners up toward the New City border, and the schools and institutions along the main corridors. We know the town well — and we know the shortcut to get there without fighting Main Street in Spring Valley.

Call (845) 490-8899Hillcrest is the corridor between Monsey and Clarkstown — part Orthodox residential, part long-time suburban homes, with schools, shuls, and a few commercial pockets along the main roads. The streets closest to Monsey feel like Monsey: dense housing, mechanical keyless locks, Shabbos considerations. The streets closest to New City feel suburban: single-family homes, smart locks, closing rekeys after a sale. The work reflects that mix.
Getting to Hillcrest cleanly requires knowing the shortcut. From our Spring Valley shop, we go up Prospect and Slinn — bypasses Main Street entirely, which saves 5-to-10 minutes in the afternoon and evening rushes. That's a route most dispatchers don't know, which is how we get to Hillcrest faster than a locksmith coming from outside the county.
The Hillcrest streets off the Monsey border, the connector roads toward the New City side, the local corridors that bypass Main Street, the residential blocks where most of the calls originate.
House lockouts on weekday evenings, rekeys after a closing or turnover, Simplex installs for the Orthodox-side addresses, car key replacements in driveways, broken-key extractions in older cylinders.

Our shop is on Old Nyack Turnpike in Spring Valley. The shortest path to Hillcrest runs up Prospect Street, onto Slinn Avenue, and into the Hillcrest streets from the Spring Valley side. This bypasses Main Street entirely, which is crucial during morning and evening rush when Main backs up. For Hillcrest addresses on the Clarkstown-facing side, we sometimes cut through the New Hempstead corridor instead. We pick the route at dispatch based on where exactly you are.
We don't work during Shabbos or Yom Tov. If you're locked out during that time, the halachic default is to wait — but if there's any safety concern (a child locked inside, an elderly parent not answering, a medical situation), that's pikuach nefesh and you call 911. Fire department entry is free and takes 10–15 minutes.
For non-emergencies — a stuck lock, a lost key — call us as soon as Shabbos or Yom Tov ends. Motzei Shabbos through Sunday we usually run extended hours. Before Shabbos — if you call Friday by 1pm we can almost always make it, even in winter.
Pesach, Rosh Hashanah, Yom Kippur, Sukkos first days, Shemini Atzeres, Pesach last days, Shavuos: we're off. Chol HaMoed: we work. Most of our Orthodox community customers know this; if you're unsure, just call and ask.
