New Hempstead sits between Monsey and New City — residential streets, single-family homes on larger lots, a mixed demographic that pulls from both neighboring communities. Our shop is on Old Nyack Turnpike in Spring Valley, about 9-to-14 minutes by car depending on which part of the hamlet. The calls here are typical residential: rekeys, lockouts, Simplex installs on the Monsey-facing side, smart locks on the New City-facing side.

Call (845) 490-8899New Hempstead is geographically in the middle of our service area — between the dense Orthodox streets of Monsey and the suburban feel of New City — and our work here reflects that middle position. The western side feels like Monsey: Simplex, rekey after turnover, Shabbos-aware dispatch. The eastern side feels like New City: smart locks, closing rekeys, standard residential hardware. Same shop, different installs, depending on your street.
Drive time from our shop is 9-to-14 minutes under normal traffic. New Hempstead Road itself is the main corridor east-west through the hamlet, and it's the artery that connects the Monsey grid to the Clarkstown grid. Rush hour slows it down in both directions, so during those windows we'll sometimes take the side streets depending on your exact address.
New Hempstead Road, the residential streets off Forshay and Route 306, the corridors connecting toward Wesley Hills and into New City, the access roads near the schools.
Rekey after a home closing, house lockout with kids at the door, Simplex install on the west side, smart lock install or replacement on the east side, broken key extraction in older hardware.

Our shop is on Old Nyack Turnpike in Spring Valley. To New Hempstead, we usually go up through Monsey via Route 306 or the residential side streets, then east along New Hempstead Road to your address. For the eastern side of the hamlet closer to the New City line, we sometimes cut through the New Hempstead Road corridor directly from the Spring Valley side. Rush hour slows the main corridors in both directions; we take residential alternates when possible.
We don't work during Shabbos or Yom Tov. If you're locked out during that time, the halachic default is to wait — but if there's any safety concern (a child locked inside, an elderly parent not answering, a medical situation), that's pikuach nefesh and you call 911. Fire department entry is free and takes 10–15 minutes.
For non-emergencies — a stuck lock, a lost key — call us as soon as Shabbos or Yom Tov ends. Motzei Shabbos through Sunday we usually run extended hours. Before Shabbos — if you call Friday by 1pm we can almost always make it, even in winter.
Pesach, Rosh Hashanah, Yom Kippur, Sukkos first days, Shemini Atzeres, Pesach last days, Shavuos: we're off. Chol HaMoed: we work. Most of our Orthodox community customers know this; if you're unsure, just call and ask.
